Dr. Michael Schut is a native of Wisconsin. He received his B.S. in pre-med Biology from Mississippi College. He then attended the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and received his D.M.D. in 2007. He went on to complete a year of post-grad training at the university hospital in Mississippi in the General Practice Residency program. Dr. Schut enjoys all aspects of general dentistry while focusing on implant and cosmetic dentistry. He thrives on the satisfaction gained by educating patients on how they can improve their oral health. When away from the practice, he enjoys several hobbies – playing basketball, paddle-boarding, and attempting to surf.
Dr. Jeff Braddy is originally from Tarboro, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Jeff and his wife, Marguerite, who grew up in Wilmington, are very excited to be back in southeastern North Carolina.
Dr. Braddy has truly enjoyed practicing dentistry for over 30 years and especially cherishes the relationships that he builds with his patients. His philosophy is to treat everyone as family and to ensure that he provides the care and attention that every patient deserves. When he is not in the office, Dr. Braddy can usually be found on the golf course, on the water, or just hanging out with family. Jeff and Marguerite have three grown children and two adorable grandchildren. They love to spend time with their family and look forward to being part of the NorthShore family!
Tammy is our Practice Manager. She began her dental career in 2002, and her boisterous personality helps patients feel like they are talking to a friend. She is very compassionate and loves going above and beyond to help our patients have a pleasant experience. She has been married 20 years to a Sneads Ferry Local, Gene, and they have two grandchildren. When not at work, Tammy enjoys helping out in the Sneads Ferry Community. She helps with the H2O Ministries and is a member of the Sneads Ferry Rotary. She loves the beach and listening to beach music.
A native from Jackson, MS, April has lived in Surf City since 2016. She has been a registered Dental Hygienist since 2013 and loves getting to know her patients. April’s husband, Matt, is a Huey pilot for the USMC and they have been married since 2016. When she’s not at work, you can find her on the beach with her dog, Lucy, or ringing the cowbell during Mississippi State University football games.
Andi is a dental hygienist, graduating from Coastal Carolina Community College in 2001. A local of Sneads Ferry, She and her husband Chris have been married for 13 years and have 2 boys, ages 8 and 12. They love to travel and spend a lot of time on the soccer and baseball fields, watching their kids play.
Elizabeth has been a part of NorthShore for the past three and a half years. She earned an Associates Degree in Applied Science and a Certificate in Dental Assisting in 2016. She decided to expand her role in the field by going back to college to become a Registered Dental Hygienist and is currently taking classes. Her goal is to bring hope and light to people far and wide through mission’s dentistry and help unseen smiles come to life. Elizabeth’s favorite part about her job is making a difference by providing excellent care to all our patients and teaching them the fundamentals of optimal oral hygiene. She has been married to Chase, her childhood sweetheart, for two years. Prior to earning her CDA II, Elizabeth was a dancer for many years, and taught dance for 3. She is a native of Topsail Island, she enjoys those sunny beach days, spending time with her family, friends, and her two pups.
Caroline is a Dental Assistant, having graduated from Cape Fear Community College in 2015. She is passionate about patient’s dental health and improving their smiles. Caroline has lived in Hampstead for 21 years and married for 3. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach and watching college basketball, GO HEELS!
Emily is originally from the Shallotte area in Brunswick County, but has resided in Wilmington since 2014. Emily has been working in Dentistry about 4 years, after graduating from CFCC (as a former student of Dr. Schut) with a certification in Dental Assisting II with expanded functions. Emily worked in Endodontics for 2 years prior to starting her career in general/cosmetic dentistry. She enjoys being able to develop relationships with our patients. When she is not working, Emily enjoys taking on a variety of creative projects, attending live music events, and doing anything outdoors.
Elizabeth recently started at NorthShore Family Dentistry, after graduating from the Dental Assisting program at Coastal Carolina Community College. Originally from Fayetteville, NC she moved to Sneads Ferry in 2014. She expanded her role to include administrative assistance, so that her warm and caring personality could help ensure every patient has a great experience when visiting the office. When away from work she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
