*** Information for patients about the Coronavirus- June 26, 2020 ***
What a whirlwind the last two months have been! It has been a stressful and scary time filled with uncertainty and unknown for what the future may hold. Our office has been blessed to be part of such a wonderful community, and it has been heartwarming to see the community come together as it has.
As a dental office, we already have very robust infection control protocols in place meant to combat a myriad of infectious diseases, but given the nature of COVID-19, we’ve implemented several additions to these protocols to better protect ourselves and our patients.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We will heavily screen patients over the phone, and again when they arrive for their appointment. We will take temperatures on everyone upon arrival, you will need to call our office at 910-327-2248 upon arrival and wait in your car until we are ready for you. If you are not feeling well or have been in large groups of 10 or more in the past 7 days, or traveled in the past 7-10 days out of NC or the country we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment.
We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office and exit. You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, coffee, children’s toys, and so forth since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. Bottled water and prizes will still be available upon request.
The number of patients in the office will be limited with extended time between appointments to support patient distancing and leave extra time for air filtration and disinfection. We also ask you to please practice and know the three W’s.
Our Team members will be screened daily with temperatures taken and asked to stay home if they are not feeling well. Our team will wear additional personal protective equipment to keep them safe, and have all been trained on the latest practices for minimizing the transmission of the virus.
We look forward to seeing our patients again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Please call our office at 910-327-2248 for any questions and to make any appointments.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.
